This RIDE BMX cover is from DECEMBER 1996, shot by Keith Mulligan, at Sheep Hills in Huntington Beach,CA... This was a special time where most of the East Coast riders would migrate to Cali to escape the harsh back east winter... Getting to ride in December was a trip, so we rode as much as possible... The sessions were heavy and always packed with shredders...
This was one of the only black and white covers, apparently b/w was a hard sell on the newsstand compared to color but I always loved this shot... Missing the long days of trail riding with homies, one of the best parts of BMX...
